On the PS3 only 6 SPUs are usable in games, so not "almost twice" but 50% more cores. Also not every game uses 6 cores, in fact only a few do. Most PS3 games run on 4 or 3 threads, with a few even being 2 threaded or single threaded (the latter only some small PSN games, but still).

This. Some games work well (most of the ports of PS2 games work ok, like God of War collections) but most others are unplayable. God of War Ascension and God of War 3 are my disappointments here. Demon's Souls and Dante's Inferno both work well, as well as many of the lower power RPGs on the platform.
Cut to the point, when I play and get to the first save point, press R1, the faded screen with sound pops up, but there's no UI, as in I can't save or exit it and have to restart. When I restart and load the autosave, it infinitely loads. I did disable native UI in the emulation options but it didn't work, the save UI just won't pop-up and I

God of War 2 also holds up extremely well and is also a damn epic game. I never was the biggest fan of the first game, but it's still good.
