My preferred method of farm sim controller set up is Xbox controller by a mile. With wheel and pedals set up, using the keyboard and mouse for occasional button presses or in-game menus is fine, but it totally sucks to use first person outside of vehicles. Since in farm sim you spend quite a bit of time in and out of vehicles, and in the Not really no. Many of the productions are absolutely not worth the time and investment. It's often better money/hour to just sell base crops. Canola and sunflower oils are a good example.
